Pregnancy Anxiety and Associated Factors in Pregnant Women

Background: Pregnancy anxiety that threatens maternal mental health has a negative impact on pregnancy outcomes and can develop even in healthy pregnant woman with no depression or problems. Objectives: The purpose of the present study was to investigate its related factors women. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive-analytical performed 322 women who were registered at centers from November 2018 March 2018. A random sampling method applied select eight city. Using SIB system, 40 randomly selected each center. Selected came receive prenatal care filled out revised version Farsi scale for (F-ASP-R). Inclusion criteria were, having ability read lack psychological disorders requiring treatment. Data analyzed by SPSS software 18 student t-test, analysis variance, multiple regression analyses. Results: mean score F-ASP-R 32.63 ± 8.9 56, 49.7% participants scored below average. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient 0.867.
